What women want recipe of the month! This month is Louisiana shrimp boil. I've been in a dirty south mood lately and there's really nothing like soul food. Next up, chicken and waffles!

Our desserts are becoming more and more popular. I have always had a passion for making pastries. I love the artistry of presentation, the endless possibilities for flavor combinations, and the reaction from friends, family and clients when they see a truly indulgent slice of New York cheesecake.
The first thing I ever made in the kitchen was a no frills blueberry pie, I was four and needed to stand on a stool to reach the counter. Now that my repertoire has expanded, Alligator Pear is in talks to start selling home made desserts to various restaurants, cafe's and food stores across Toronto.

Welcome to Alligator Pear Blog

I've given in to the pressure and started a blog! My more internet and marketing savvy friends have been telling me that blogging is a great way to document the progression of your business, network your services and keep your clients up to date on what's going on. So stay tuned for events, recipes, news and thoughts on food!
